Dionne Warwick: a true pioneer

Dionne Warwick has established herself during her unbelievable four decade career as an international music legend. She is known as hit guarantor in the minds of the public, based on her 60 chart-hits and since „Don’t Make Me Over,“ in December 1962, captured the charts. She is a true pioneer in pop music; in 1968 she won her first Grammy Award and was the first black female solo artist to be nominated for the award. Together with her singing career she is a moderator in the USA and engages herself with charities. She has been recognized on numerous occasions for her different engagements.
