The American rapper is the most famous rapper of today due to his socially critical and pondering lyrics. His music career began at the age of 20 when he released his first album on vinyl. Soon after, he came out with a second album that made him an integral part of the underground music scene. With the album „Water for Chocolate“, he was able to break out onto the mainstream market. The Grammy winner works together with many artists and is a popular guest performer. In the meantime he has become more than just a musician, his last album climbed all the way to number 1 on the Billboard charts and he has also taken up acting. His first role was in the action thriller “Smokin’ Aces“ as well as the film „American Gangster“.
