Eric Roberts

The American actor Eric Roberts completed his actor’s training in London and New York. Soon after, her landed his first theatre role and later played Ted Bancort in the series „Another World“.  In 1985 he was nominated for an Oscar as best supporting actor for his role in the film “Runaway Train”.  Additionally he got his theatre career back on track and in 1987 won the „Theater World Award“, for his Broadway debut. His acting impressed his little sister Julia Roberts so much that she also decided to join the industry. After a quiet phase in his career, Eric Roberts is back in front of the camera in the television series „Heros“. Eric Roberts himself has a hearing loss and therefore Hear the World and the theme of hearing and hearing loss are important for him to bring into the public’s view.
