Photographer Philipp Rathmer has captured the project visit to Nairobi in fascinating photographs. The main focus is on striking black and white portraits of children from the Joymereen school for children with normal hearing and children with hearing loss, which the Hear the World Foundation consistently supports with hearing aids and medical care. Extraordinary photographs all about the Foundation’s work as well as the life of the people in Nairobi have also emerged, which transport the observer on a journey to a city of extremes.
As of 17.11.2011 all the images shown in the CHANCES* exhibition can be viewed and purchased in our online gallery Online-Galerie. (Gallery pages and purchase process in German language)
The exhibition will be open from 17.11 - 27.11.2011. Admission is free.
