139 visitors in total took part in the Hear the World online survey “How do you feel now you are wearing a hearing instrument?”

The result is encouraging. More than half (79) of the users surveyed have felt better since they have been wearing a hearing instrument. 36 users mention that others look at them differently and only 24 users do not notice any difference.

This shows that hearing instruments are becoming more and more socially acceptable and have a really positive impact on quality of life. For almost all degrees of hearing loss, hearing instruments improve users’ perceptive ability and help them to gain access to sensory experiences they thought they had lost.
