I am Deaf

I am deaf I was born hearing I lost 75% hearing loss when I turned one year old. High fever and meningitis caused my deafness. I wish that I am hearing so I would not have to be deaf all of my life BUT I am deaf. My families are hearing. I live in BOTH worlds Hearing and Deaf world. My biological families some of them knows fingerspelling some signing mostly home signing and body gesture. My adoptive families two of them knew alot signing but not anymore because Im not around adoptive families HOWEVER my love will remains with them even Im around my biological family oftens. Theres program that deaf people can go mainstream public school and they would provide an sign language interpreter. I was mainstreamed in hearing school before even Im related to deaf school. My children are hearing BUT they knows sign language I teach them signing when they were born and now my 2 older sons 14 yrs old and 12 yrs old more of communicate with me. we get along greatly. with love with support with encourage with caring too respect disciples them well. I used to dated hearing guys and it doesnt bother me at all UNLESS theres honest and trust. I am now 37 years old most people dont believe that Im 37 they all thought i am more of 25 to 28 years old Im glad to stay young forever giggling lol.. Im very shy at first when meeting new people I tend to be a shy gal.. I accept people of any races. Some of my friends who are deaf they are gay bi lesbian straight black white hispican thailand any races all over.
