by daniellechristine 2011-05-19
When i was a baby my parents realized when i was 5months old everytime they would rattel something by my right ear i would always turn my head to the left or couldnt hear..They took me to the University Of Pittsburg' and thats when they were told i had been born deaf in my right ear.. I had about 15 to 20 surgies over the years to try an correct the skin blocking my ear canal. It would stay open for just about a month or so and still to this day it wont stay open. Now iam 26 and still dealing with being deaf in my right ear..The only way it affects me is i have really bad balance and get bad ear aches and headaches. Today iam going to the Cleveland Clinic and my last surgery was a year ago and it is still open not by much but its open:)
