Specialist for children/adolescents

My 13yo daughter with no previous history of ear infections began having chronic infections about 10months ago. She has had PE tube surgery and they have not helped. She now has moderate hearing loss in one ear and is showing changes in the other. She now wears a hearing aid in one ear. Our local doctors are baffled as to why a child with no previous history would begin having ear infections leading to hearing loss. I am looking for a specialist preferably in the Houston or New Orleans area or anywhere in the United States that has seen this type of problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I hope everything works out for you and your daughter. I am deaf in my right ear my parents didnt find out until i was 5 months old and now iam 26.I go to the cleveland clinic and they help me out alot. I ad about 20 surgies over the years to try and keep my ear open and my last surgery was at the cleveland cklinc and it has been about 2 years and my ear is still open, not by much but its still open.So i would say try the Cleveland Clinic or the University Of Pittsburgh both great hospitals.
