Hearing loss and English Language

Hello, I have hearing loss from 7 years old. Now I'm 21, I'm from Russia. My both hears - right and left - hear loss, but I didn't use hear aids before. I hear the speech but sometimes I have problems with understanding the speech of strangers, and I don't hear if people are far distance from me. While I have my years of schooling, I sit on the first table near the teacher. And it gives me a chance to hear clearly the speech. I think that in future I must use a hear aid. Or may be I ought to use the hear aid now!

I'm very glad that I find this site. I read some things that make me understand a lot of new things about my hearing loss and about hear aids. Once I studied English language and now I'm happy that it gives me an opportunity to understand the interesting and useful information on this site. I can understand and read in English now and my dream is to understand an English verbal speech.
