My hearing and I

I am 22 and I have been Deaf since birth. Since leaving school, the difficulties and lack of understanding I have faced is astounding. I have started a blog of my experience as a Deaf girl: www.landofthebumblyboo.blogspot.com

 

I have never seen much in the way of awareness and was so pleased to come across this website and the 'Hear the World' campaign.

My deafness defines me, increasingly so as I get older and attempt to find my place in the world.
