As you wear hearing aids, we would be very pleased if you could answer a few short questions about it. What is your overall experience with your hearing aids?
I wanted these hearing aids so that I can have the remote control in my pocket. Whenever I ride my motorcycle I use the remote control to put hearing on zero... and still enjoy some sound after all. It’s great to be able to adjust my hearing aids from my pocket.
So the remote control makes it more comfortable?
Its fine... great... In a crowded room it works great.
What do you like most about your hearing aids?
They have a zoom that is easy to adjust to the environment you’re in...
When do you use your hearing aids?
I don’t use them on the phone, but always to listen to music or television.
What do you think is your hearing aids’ best feature?
Well, to hear better and more clearly... They can be ad - justed to different environments. And it’s great to have your hearing improved with the added adjustability that is controlled by you.
How long has your hearing been impaired?
Almost 20 years, due to some hearing damage...
Did you ever wear ear-protection while biking?
I am very careful about protecting my hearing...
How have your hearing aids improved your quality of life?
I would like to say... I enjoy using them... I am very happy with them...
Did you ever recommend your hearing instruments to others?
I have, to a number of people...
Do you ever talk about your hearing loss?
I do discuss hearing and never had a bad reaction to my hearing aids. Society has changed, people live longer and today, hearing aids are more common. They are quite invisible, I think.
