On top of the kilimanjaro
My journey up Kilimanjaro was one of the most physically and mentally demanding days of my life.

Sound Island
Official inauguration of the Hear the World Sound Island in Salzburg
Visitors experience their sense of hearing in a creative way – an important step towards understanding its importance. “On a daily basis, the sounds of a city are not really perceived in a conscious manner at all – or at most the irritating factors such as building noise. However, the sounds of Salzburg are a large part of its character”, says Dr. Heinz Schaden, Salzburg’s Mayor, with enthusiasm. Dr. Helga Rabl-Stadler, President of the Salzburg Festival adds: „Salzburg is known as the “City of Music” – not only once a year on the occasion of the Festival. I am proud to see Salzburg present itself in a different light with the Sound Island”. Furthermore, Dr. Hellsberg, President of the Vienna Philharmonic, Dr. Valentin Chapero, CEO Phonak, and Kay Buchhauser, Managing Director Hansaton, attended the official inauguration of the Sound Island in the courtyard of the Salzburg Museum.
