Varta
Since early 2010 VARTA Microbattery, one of the major battery manufacturers in the world, has been the exclusive partner for hearing aid batteries for the Hear the World Foundation. VARTA Microbattery regularly donates hearing aid batteries for projects of the foundation, for example the Caro Human Care project in Nairobi, Kenya. In 2011 several hundred athletes will be supplied at the Special Olympics in Athens. Future expansion to other Hear the World Foundation projects is planned.
