The actress Diane Krueger originally aspired to be a dancer. After an injury she was forced to give up her training at the Royal Ballet in London. She then went to Paris and worked as a model under her birth name, Diane Heidkrüger. Later she took acting lessons and shortened her name in hope of having a film career. Her break as an actress came with the role of Helena in the film „Trojan“, with Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom. Her versatility has allowed her to synchronize her career in both English and French. Along with her acting she is an active moderator and jury member for famous film festivals.
