Moby was born as Richard Melville. The stage name of the singer, DJ and music producer comes from the novel „Moby Dick“. Before he became an international star in 1999, he captured the hearts of clubbers and the charts with his dance track “Go”. The single „Why Does my Heart Feel so Bad“ was a worldwide hit and gave Moby his big break. He demonstrates his love for film by making his film music available on his homepage. Moby is known for his involvement in world affairs that he makes known in interviews and in his blog.
