Teach For Better Hearing
Scholarships for further education program for teachers: “Teach for Better Hearing“
Interactive school concept for children with hearing loss: Eduplex, Pretoria (South Africa)
„Teach for Better Hearing“ offers scholarships for teachers starting in fall 2007. The innovative further education program for teachers created by the Hear the World Foundation aims at integrating children with hearing loss in regular classes.
Participating teachers will be given a 2-week intensive training program held at Eduplex, a worldwide unique school project in Pretoria (South Africa). The teaching method at Eduplex is based on the idea of teaching hard of hearing and normal hearing children together, using the Natural Aural Approach.
The offer primarily addresses US, Swiss and German schools and mobile pedagogical services with an integrative teaching concept or a strong interest in this method.
