Singer and conductor Bobby McFerrin started his singing career at the age of 27. Thanks to Bill Cosby he was able to appear at the Playboy Jazz Festival, which ultimately led to a record deal. He received considerable recognition in the professional scene as well as awards. His song “Don’t Worry, Be Happy“ earned him his initial worldwide recognition. He has worked together with many other artists and in 1990 he won a Grammy for his lifetime achievements. This year he has taken to the road as conductor. What started out as just fun has quickly developed into a second career.  The conductors high point was performing with the Vienna Philharmonic on the occasion of the expansion of the EU. Bobby McFerrin still tours the world as a one man band and brings joy to millions with his music.
